Road tripping for a couple days of Olympics, HELP!

Hey guys, I live/work in Vail and this is my last season before I have to go back to grad school, so my friends and I were planning a few trips for our off days. We've decided on Utah, Tahoe in spring, and hopefully Whislter during the Olympics for a couple of days.
Obviously there isn't going to be anywhere to stay in town probably, and I'm almost not even inclined to waste my time trying to find a hotel or motel. Does anyone want to let us crash on the floor for one or two nights in exchange for gas/cash/grass/etc?
We'd only be there for a couple of days since the most days off of work we could get would be like 3-4 and most of it would be spent on the road. We just want to go to the Olympics to say we did. I'm planning on going to Sochi for the next one, but Whistler is within driving distance, so why not try? If we even ski it'd only be for like one day.
So, anyone down? It'll be 3 people max. Probably just 2.

I think a lot of people are going to have family and lots of 1/2 friends crashing at their places. I'm kicked out of my own room for it......so I wish you luck, but i can't help.

Thanks man, I kinda figured that, but its 2 weeks long and i figure someone might have something open at some point...

Either way NS is a better resource for this type of thing than craigslist or whatever since this population is loyal to one another for the most part, and therefore open to shit like this...so i figured its worth a try.

Anyone else???

rent an rv and stay at jericho beach (there setting up a temp. rv park). haha. try the hostel (not sure if they are taking reservations yet or how it will work) i've heard they have the cheapest rates during the olympics (~$30/night).

you can't drive the highway past brackendale unless you either have tickets or a gauranteed parking spot. i really have no idea how they expect a lot of people to come but those are the rules. they aren't even running public busses back and forth from vancouver.

sorry dude, but thats vanoc security for ya

man that is fucking absurd, how far away from whistler is that checkpoint?
pretty much the only way im doing this trip is if i can find a place to bum, but if it's going to be a huge hassle just to get our vehicle into whistler i think i might just go to tahoe or something that week instead
