I should be getting my Dorion's back soon...and Im planning to rivet the tips to avoid the coming off again. Any do's and don'ts? Like what way should I rivet them...with the smooth flat side of the rivet on the top or bottom?

What gravity?

Yea problem is I bought them in the states, and when I bought them the guy said they had an international warrenty.

They don't.

And Salomon NZ are being assholes about it all...doing no good for the company if you ask me.

Although I am going back to the states at the end of the year... so I might be able to do something then.

hey dude..we have an international warenty..nothing really proof that you bought them in the states and you dont need proof of purchase to get your warrenty!

Ok, cause I got on to Salomon NZ about them (well, Salomon New Zealand doesn't really exist, there's just like a snow sports distributer which is the distributer for Salomon stuffhttp://www.snoworld.co.nz/).

Anyway, they said I had to pay for the tips and everything, which I thought was pretty shitty.

And Im obviously not keen on shipping them to the states for a $25 pair of tips :)

Is there anything I could do to avoid paying for the tips?

that's so gay dude. They guy in the shop I bought my skogens from was such a freakin' goma head. He was letting on about all this bullshit and he said if I broke them that I had no warranty at all and that I would have to buy a new pair and I was like, nah, but he was like all crappy about it and stuff so I'll just take them to the USA with me and if they're wrecked get some new ones there.

Um..Dude, you know where Australia is? NZ is next to that.

Europe is farther away from New Zealand than America is.

I might just wait until I head to the states at the end of the year...lucky I bought them in January so Ill have a month or so before the warrenty runs out.

Do you know if the warrenty is pro-rata?
