River Waves in Utah

Does anyone heard about or seen a river wave in Utah area? I came across a house with a bunch surf boards fly fishing didn’t see a wave.

theres a few, one ogden kayak park, theirs a few on the snake river its not in utah but not a bad drive, and then like canals around.

Some cities are building static waves in whitewater parks, pretty sick idea if you ask me. I know there was one in Bend, Or. I think they built one in Boise Id too:
