Obveously if you land on the tips of your skis like an almost faceplant or land on your back tips and almost land on your back coing around from a flip your skis will snap. Just set your dins lower and they will prolly pop off before they snap.
yeah my buddy at mt bachelor broke fishers doing a front and landed too far back and broke them just behind the binding. jst land good and this wont happen =)
make sure what ever bindings you have mounted on your park skis dont have a vertical toe lock... my 4frnt 1018's have a vertical toe lock and i know some more beefy bindings do to... this would def. give you a greater chance of breaking your skis (esecially right behind the heel) on a hard back seat landing..
sure you could break them doing flips, but you could also break them doing a 3 or coming off a rail... I wouldn't let it hold you back from tryin new stuff.
you dont crank your bindings up so high that they wont pop out when you stress them that much...or at least plan a day to try them and lower your DIN a little bit on that day so that you can get them down without a worry.
skis can break without you even noticing, well atleast it happenned tro me, and i had definetly not tried any flips tha day, they probably brok on a 2out on ar rail or some shit like that. so dont let the fact they can break doing a flip bother you cause it might happen without doing one anyway.
