Ripped money

I have a ripped 10$ bill which has two inches ripped completely off of the side and noone will take it, but its illegal not to take money.

I beleive there is a system that will take a few dollars off the %age that is ripped. If you take it too the bank (the only place you can cash it) you will not get full price.

as long as you have both serial numbers, and they match, it is still worth the full amount. Take it to the bank.

I worked at a bank and as someone else said all you need is both serial numbers.

if you find half of a bill, they will give you the money as long as you have 1 serial number and nooone else hands in the other half before you do

i think as long as you have more than half the bill, it doens't matter. thats why people can light ciggars with 100 dollar bills, cuz they only burn some of it, then take it to the bank

here is another trick. bring half a ripped bill in, then get the full value, then bring the other half in to another bank, and get another bill.
