RIP

Sad. Conditions are very tricky all over the alps right now. Lots of accidents and deaths in the last week.

They didnt wear beacons and were buried 3/4 meters deep. Around 60 people were involved in the rescue operation.

Just saw this on Sportscenter. So sad. Two twenty year old kids killed chasing a dream! Vibes the skiers and their families. That said, if I were to go out any way, you bet your ass it would be on my skis!

TGR peeps were saying it was on a groomed run apparently. Avalanche overran onto the slope. Horrible.

No, they were not skiing on a groomed slope. However, the avalanche also overran a slope, but it was closed at the time due to the dangerous conditions.

Grew up as family friends with Ronnie in Franconia. My mom called me this morning balling her eyes out telling me what happend. Havent seen him in years but it still hits real close to home. Vibes out for all the people effected!
