RIP Shane McConkey, 1 year later

I honestly can't believe it's been a full year. I forgot my birthday would now bring a negative feeling. RIP dawg.
 
wow, one year already. It's horrific to think we've lost 2 icons in the space of 12 months.

RIP Shane.
 
Prayers to shanes family, it never gets any easier you just kinda become numb to the pain over time. I'm coming up on 9 years and two years since I've seen my bros.
 
I just keep watching his In Deep segment and everytime I'm just wowed. I even changed my facebook profile pic to him.
 
It's crazy that is has been a year already. I broke my tib/fib, which lead to more complications, on this exact day and remember seeing the news of his death. Suddenly, my tib/fib fracture and following complications became so insignificant and I felt the need to send vibes to his family and friends. Such a tragedy. And when there is such a high love and passion for a sport, death is never something anyone thinks about. RIP
