RIP Fredrick Ericsson

Very tragic. K2 is a beast of a mountain. Adding skiing to the equation makes it immensely harder. RIP! and thanks for the inspiration!!!
 
That's as high as my home mountain...
So sad to hear this kind of thing even if I didn't even know who the person was, RIP.
 
Fredrick ericsson was an other skier who was an inspiration. I always enjoyed reading through his blog, to see how the K2 attempt was going. It's pretty crazy how another skier who has been pushing the imits, was taken away by such tragic consequences. R.I.P.. Jah love!! Bless.

In the article it says 299 people have summited K2 and 78 have died trying... that's a 1 in 5 chance you'll die trying to climb it. Scary stuff.
 
i havent heard much about this guy other than a few blurbs here and there about his trips but damn... that would be such a horrible way to die.

RIP Fredrick, another skier taken too soon.
 
Holy shit, just climbing K2 is an accomplishment few can claim.... Skiing it is absolutely insane. Huge respect to the guy for trying, its people like this that inspire me to keep doing what I do.
