Heard about this from my record store Anyone know how he passed? just his age I guess? Dude was vocally strong all the way up to his passing, passionate singer.

"Though the cause of his death is currently unknown, he suffered diabetes, prostate cancer, heart diseases, colon cancer, pneumonia and Alzheimer's disease". Just a complete deterioration of the mind and body. Yeah, dementia greatly impacted his playing and singing abilities in his later years, but he never lost that passion and soul. An example:
