RIP A51?

Was just at Keystone and it was truly a sad sight. Not a single feature, not even any snowmaking started. I get that they have to prioritize opening runs at this point, but it seems almost that there's no intention of having a park at all. While we've seen this at other Vail resorts this is a truly sad state of affairs going from one of the best parks in the world to nothing in a matter of years.

Could have sworn my friend sent me some clips of him riding there like a week ago.

keystone was sick when I went there the first time last year but people said in previous years it was way better. Couldn’t even imagine

About 5 years ago Corporate started chasing off all the park employees who came from the OG era. Theres still some good guys left on the crew, but not getting the funding/priority that A51 used to.

It'll come, keystone is just wayyy behind on everything this year. They don't even have all their front side groomers open yet. Vail screwed themselves by not prioritizing employees and now their expensive snowmaking and lift upgrades are going to waste.

Yes, I was there the other day (before the most recent snow storm). No way they can get a51 open this year. Vail sucks and from what I've heard they are just trying to fuck over the park crews.

Imagine if we didn't have copper oh my.

So thats the thing. Everyone is really glad copper has become so much better in recent years and it's great. However, at the same time it's really sad to see Keystone and Breck fall to this...
