Riding Mismatched skis

Lately I’ve just not been giving a fuck. I have a bunch of skis that I've snapped and I’m tired of just watching the good ones sit. I’m gonna do it I don’t care.

i feel like landing spins with different size skis could pose some risk but i can’t articulate why lol

Probably because they’re different size skis

One will spin faster than the other. Different weights and possibly different mounting points and ski styles. Bunch of wacky shit.

I rode a 184 prodigy 1 and a 180 cm edollo for a few days over the summer at the copper hike park cuz one of each ski broke and I honestly didn’t notice a huge difference except for the different lengths despite a 10 mm different underfoot

This thread is proof that you do care what others think and your feeble mind believes skiing around with gear that doesn't match is somehow heroic or something that needs to be praised.

Fucking pathetic.

One time I mounted the one ski at Center and the other ski at recommended by accident and didn’t notice for like 5 days

I had a botched mount job with in a similar situation. And It really fucked with me

Turn em into snowskates

Back in the day my brother used a combination of one Head JO, one K2 Silencer and one Fischer addict for 2 years.

Honestly the thing that would frustrate me the most about this idea is the brakes not lining up to interlock for transport. I assume you'll just walk through the parking lot with'em on your feet though huh...?

if the brakes of the narrower ski still fit around the wider ski then it should be a non issue

Dont forget these legends who would occasionally mismatch skis. “One was a rossignol and one was a dynastar, and he was still skiing the bumps as happy as can be”
