you see, i never understand this sort of thing.. I'm all for relegion, and im christian, but where does christianity come into skiing? What would you talk about? Christ airs? Or if your just going to talk about straight relegion, not skiing, where does the 'ride for' bit come in?
 
As a christian, you probably know how we are called to make God the focus of our lives, and to involve Him in all aspects of it, including skiing. Thats where the "ride for" comes is.
 
so much of the skiing community involves sex and drugs and negative activity. so riding for christ will obviously take a stand against all that.
 
because some of us are christians and have a deeper purpose in life then appeasing ourselves all the time. Some of you are so imature its pathetic.
 
What is your deeper purpose in life? How can you say someone who appeases them selves all the time dosent have a deep purpose in life. Im imature because i like to enjoy my life instead of wasting it with fanatical bible stories? You are a fooooooooooooool.
 
i love wasting my life with.. Higher education, skiing, sex, family, friends, and sacraficing goats and shit. i persoanlly think that whoever is up there wants you to be yourself to some limits and live life like your dying the next day. IM NOT GONNA WASTE my sundays sitting in some uncomfortable room with a bunch of poser's ( you know fuck well everyone in that church sin's like a motherfucker) why put on a front? Besides Sunday is SKI DAY.
 
um I ski WAAAY more then you. so that has no bearing.

And the immaturity is aimed at the thread response, not on wether you are a christian or not.
 
I saw Jesus yesterday pulling the dopest cork 9 blunts yesterday... that man should get some better sponsors... that whole God thing is just slowing him down
 
A popular misconception, being a Christian does not mean we don't sin. In fact becoming a christian is recognizing that yeah I sin lots, and need help. Theres no posers in church.

Christianity is great. I can live my life full of massive amounts of sin and debauchery, and then repent on my death bed, because Jesus was a sucker.

actually my good man, christ enjoyed a nice glass of drugs, e.g. alchohol, and fruthermore, many a nice woman (e.g. mary magdalene). he seems reasonable.
 
Yes, there is nothing wrong with drinking alcohol, wine was the staple drink at the time. However, please point out to me where the bible says Jesus "enjoyed" many a nice women. Jesus did keep company with those who were considered the worst sinners in the community, ie. whores and tax collectors, yet he never indulged in their activities.
