so im taking psychology this year as a class and one of the topics that came up in a discussion was serial killers and what goes on in their heads. one individual nicknamed the iceman emerged as a topic of discussion. my friend told me he stayed up late watching a 12 part compilation of interviews with this man, and if he was fascinated, surely i would be too. not to my surprise, i was hooked on watching this. its so fascinating to see how a man could have such a warm heart with his family, (he even comes to tears over his family at the end of part 12/12) yet talk about his numerous disgusting murders with almost even a smirk on his face. such a cold and fucked up person

by the way, i know there was a thread on the iceman but it was in 06 and it was about him on larry king, plus most of the people in the thread had no idea who he was

and i watched a show on manson and his friends and it was pretty crazy. i think he gets out his year or next on parole or some shit?
 
i watched something on manson a few months ago too. these documentaries are so interesting and i love seeing what these people have to say

Im also taking a psych course this term, and I've really grown to like it alot. Alot more then history atleast. We also just did a section on sociopaths and what makes them tick. Super interesting.
 
word we watched that last year in psych. a profoundly fucked up man. the part about torturing cats when he was little was awful. although i gotta say, the part when he talks about killing some dudes who were fucking with him while they were driving was hilarious. the interviewer asks if their harrassment of him was a capital offense and iceman just says, apparently, i killed them.

nah, it was deemed to be an uncontrollable flatspin caused by an engine flameout, which was actually caused by iceman's plane.

but anyways. I took a psychology class a few years ago and loved learning about this. Watching interviews with manson is just creepy, the man is a nut and should die in prison. We also got to watch part of one of his parole hearings, where he said if they let him out he'd kill everyone. Needless to say, it didn't work, and probably never will.

yeah ive seen the interviews, and my friend read a book on him, shit was so fucked up, he hung a guy over his back, and used to tie up guys in caves and shit or subways, and leave them there until the rats would eat them alive, and i think he filmed it too, im not totally sure, but its so fucked up
 
The Iceman isnt even the crazy type of serial killer. Hes just a guy who killed a shitload of people for his job. He isnt fucking nuts like Manson etc.
 
and its not like he doesnt have a heart. he said himself he loves his family more then anything in the world and if it could have been done different he would have. he just so happen to pick that way to make money and became efficient at it.
 
ya man i was watching cold case on a plane a while ago and there was the most fucked up serial killer he went by the name BTK or somthing like bind strangle kill he was a minister and he would go into peoples houses and tie everybody up torture them and then kill them children and everything and he would play games with the cops like leave notes and put ads in the newspaper that hinted towards his next kill and shit
the way they caught him was he called the police and asked them if he could send them a floppy disc with some info on it and he asked them if they could trace it back to him and they said no but they could i also think he was one of the first people that got caught using DNA
 
BTK actually stood for Blind Torture Kill. he would fuck there eyes and make them blind, then torture them then kill them
