So uhhh... What exactly did I do wrong?

When you embed from youtube you need to click 'share' then click 'embed' then copy that code. Then come to the reply box, and click on the white circled F like: ( f ) Then paste the embed code into the box that pops up and hit 'Add Video'

Then for the image, you forgot the backslash on the back image tag. So it needs to be like this
