Anyone else here listen to people signed by rhymesayers? I like them more than pretty much any chicago and/or gangster rappers. I like the lyrics, and how mostly everything has a specific theme that doesn't involve being a pimp or getting money. (I do like gucci fuck off)

If you like a song, post it.

Most are dope. Atmosphere, Brother Ali, Doomtree etc are all killer. Doomtree and Atmosphere absolutely kill it live, if you get a chance to see them dont hesitate, best concerts Ive ever been to.

Rhymesayers is definitely above most of the rap out there right now, but it's gotten a little cheesier in the past few years though. Not a big fan of the past two atmosphere albums. Pretty neutral on brother Ali's new stuff, but the older rhymesayers stuff goes in! I like how dem atlas is going back towards an older style but at the same time I don't.

Hate to admit it but grieves on Rhymesayers is good as well. Anyone else think aesop rock fell off?? My dream is to make it on the Rhymesayers label. Most music these days is garbage I can't even listen to the radio anymore.

Came to say this, used to follow the sayers label religiously now I've kinda fallen off since some of the content has gone weak.

Pretty stoked though, saw Doomtree and Dem Atlas last week here in Duluth. And next week we have Prof coming up. Despite some of the new music not being as good as the oldies Doomtree absolutely kills it live, they put on a show for sure.
