yea i go to school at RWU and its a dope school but soooo far from skiing

and yawgoo is a fuckin joke
 
i went to yawgoo once they think im god its really funny, and its great that i get to ride jumps like 2 times a month..
 
i'm a sophomore and a biomedical engineering major. i love it here. half of the kids here rent nice houses, which are less than a mile from the beaches, in narragansett and pay less money than you would for a dorm. uri has a dry campus, but if you live in gansett, you can usually find parties within walking distance from your house. most of the kids at "you are high" are prety chill and half of them longboard to class. the only thing that sucks here is the long distance to the mountains, but it is easy to find friends who snowboard that you can get rides with.
 
my couzin goes to uri he partys alot he rents a house with some friends in narragansett, i think his house has that orange sticker haha
 
haha. the dreaded orange sticker, but from what i have seen, narragansett cops are pretty chill. we have had the cops over twice and all they did was tell us to turn down our music. also, my roommate and i have both been pulled over for 63 in a 45 and we both got warnings and he even saw my radar detector.
 
I'm a sophomore in high school but already looking into college. Uri sounds pretty legit, sounds like theres lots of chill people there. especially if they're all longboarding to class. haha. And it couldnt be much better than being a mile from the beach. Do you go to wachusett mainly?
 
i mostly go to wachusett but im in highschool its like a 1 hour drive from my house, yawgoos down rail is fun to hike for a hour or 2 thats like right down the road from uri i think
 
its like from early december and it usaully goes ends this weekend but this year we got a bunch of rain and it closed the second weekend in march, but heres a video at yawgoo its fun for a few hours and they dont really check your pass intil night time, and theres a rope tow for it, i dont know this guy

i was born in RI but moved up to VT when i was 3. my family still has a house in warwick that we visit every summer. it's super awesome, but just not for skiing. my recommendation: move up here.
