Hey so i just checked out revolver, and thought it was pretty dope but I've also heard a lot of sick things from people about eye trip. I was just wondering what you guys think about the two and which is better?

searchbar... this thread has come up about 10 times in the last month... you'd find good answers to your question in those threads

i personally thought that Eye Trip was 1000 times better overall; however Dane Tudors segment was one of the best segments i think i have ever seen.

I would usually say Level 1... but this year I think all the ski movies are so boring... This is just my opinion and not meaning to hate, but everytime i pop the DVD in I skip to 1 or 2 segments which is about 5 minutes then turn the TV... Watching the whole movie is just boring, they can't keep me entertained anymore... I dunno whether it's because there are so many tight skiers/filmers on NS now that edits kill it... But I'm just all around bored with ski movies now of days... They need more of a theme/story... something to keep me entertained through 45 minutes of shot after shot of skiing... once again just my opinion

dude its chill your oppinions awesome. I agree a lot on the story line bit. I wouldnt agree with the rest of it but I feel like movies need a plot eg. the evolution of skiing or how ___, ____, ____ got to the level they did in their skiing careers.

I watched both and personally I felt that Revolver was better. Eye Trip was sick none the less, but the soundtrack didn't fit my liking and I felt their was too much filler in between segments. On the plus side for Eye Trip, it had the urban and park that Revolver definitely lacked imo. All in all, two great films. Bene and Ahmet are beasts!

yea I feal what you mean. Revolver was a sick video which did lack park and urban but I feel they made up for it in their powder shots. They had some banger shots and was a definite sick edit.

haha what about the twenty minute long interviews in revolver talking about progression and natural progression and generations and what not that was to much filler....

Revolver:

Pros: Sick lines, Dane Tudor killed it, Simon killed it on the road gap (ridiculus)

Cons: Too much dubstep?, not enough jibs (maybe this was supposed to mostly be all BC and powder, but compared to Everydays is a Saturday, no jibs or much park)

Eye Trip:

Pros: Some of the most creative skiing I have ever seen in my entire life, straight up.

Who thinks of things like jumping out of an old abandoned hotel? Tennis court jib? 450 270 off dub-kink handrail? TWall dominated in his segment. The whole vibe that the Level 1 crew gave me was awesome. I loved this movie, would recomend it for sure.

Cons: Not any that I can think of off the top of my head actually.

haha sounds like Eye trip wins it. yea that vid had a banger teaser, how was the sun valley jump. that looked pretty insane.

Haha yeah most definately, but I will still watch both anyday no doubt. It was pretty damn intense, but TWalls segment will blow you away, his park scenes are crazy.

Whats so cool about Nimbus is that they can keep me entertained for 45 minutes just by showing me how they plan things and how they travel etc and then they show sick skiing too.

oh and i liked eye trip more

I think thats what is missing in these movies alot, i just got back from revolver and found it to be to random and a little boring.

I like to know about the trips they take and how much fun they have. Needs to be less serious and put out a good vibe of people hanging out skiing having fun and getting some shots.

And too much dubstep, it doesnt go with pow skiing in my opinion.

thats the helly hansen one right? yea I saw the intro that looks pretty sick, its definatly more focused towards big mountain right?
