Nips will be there all weekend, anyone interested in putting together a team of 5. Skiers don't stand a chance of winning however it should be a really cool scene to hang out at for 2 days.
"Skiers don't stand a chance of winning however..."
do to that statement, i'm not gonna be there...after the last team comp (which was super fun, don't get me wrong), i dont know if it's worth it to put out the money to compete in a swowboard comp.
If the skiers don't come out in mass for these events, we don't ever stand a chance of improving things. Try and make it to the comp, the judges and sponsors and the mountain does notice.
i completely agree with kevin's point here. if skiers dont even stand a chance, then whats the point? its not just the $20 entry fee. after everything is all said and done, it can put us out about $100 each. yeah, boulder's park is sick, but getting theoretically shit on cause you ski is not.
