Hey guys. So as some of you may know I'm I the gear team this season for new schoolers. I have just received a pair of the salomon ghost fs 90 boots and I'm heading up whistler the next few days to give them a real try out.

Seeing how how this is the replacement to the spk, a boot which was very new schoolers I was wondering if you guys had any specific question you would like answering about the new version. I have seen a few thread already regarding the boot an the changes from the spk. I actually have a pair of spk's I will be skiing over the next few days too so I can really compare new and old but if there are any questions you guys have please post them up and I'll try to cover as many of them in the review as I can.

if you guys like this way of testing I'll try to do similar things with other products I get to test.

I think this is a really good idea and i wasnt able to find much in depth reviews of the ghosts so this is really help full, i would like to know if they are as sloppy as the spk because i would think the smaller last would fix this but im not sure, also i would like to know how the shell fit is compared to the spk. Lastly, how does the boot perform without the rubber toe better? Worse? Toe bang? Thanks its appreciated.

Does the boot have replacable soles?

Semi-related, do you know if the Ghost 110 has removable toe lugs so the WTR touring lugs can be installed:

Good questions. As I said luckily I have some spk's which I will be skiing alongside the ghosts. I had already planed to do a comparison shell cheack between the two to give people an idea of what has changed shape wise. So far I have done zero work to the shells, I wa going to punch out the toe but I figured it was better to try them as standard first. im interested to see f the lack of rubber toe is an issue too.

they are not replaceable on the ghost fs which I do think is a bad move.

As as for those soles I the ghost I'm fairly certain that they would fit yes but I'll confirm that.
