sup NS,

Blister Gear Review is on a two week review trip in Niseko, Japan testing fourteen of the sweetest pow-boards offered for the 2012/2013 season (in some of the sickest, pillowed terrain on the planet)

We've just posted our 2nd review from the trip:the 2012-2013 Mr. Pollard's Opus.

With ten years of development by EP and the guys at Line, the Opus has is happy to butter of the many pillows Niseko has to offer, yet can hold up to a good amount of charging through chop.

Also, check out the review of the Rossignol Squad 7. As many of you may know by now, it's a tweaked and updated version of the hugely popular Super 7, and we're very happy with this new addition to the S7 line. http://blistergearreview.com/gear-reviews/rossignol-squad-7

Below is a list of the 12 other skis we'll be testing over the course of the trip. Stay tuned, and check back in the Gear Talk forum or on the site as we roll out the reviews.

Awesome review, I am going on a trip to Niseko later this winter, and my parents are not letting me bring my pow skis because we will be doing some traveling around the country, so are you renting all these skis in Niseko or did you guys bring them over?

You'll have no problem renting powder skis in Niseko, most of the hire shops on the main street in Hirafu will have something wide and rockered for you.

2012/2013 skis aren't avialable to rent yet... We were able to get

these skis from the manufacturers before we left.
