Reverse Friends List?

Just a completely random idea that popped in my head. I was reading through the forums and someone said something interesting so I clicked on their profile and I saw that they had me on their friends list. I have no idea who the person is at all, just another random NSer. This got me thinking... I think it could be cool to have a list somewhere of people who have you friended. So it's like your friends list, except reversed. I guess it's kind of pointless, but is kind of interesting at the same time.

you can try searching your username in the google search and it sometimes finds random people who friended you

So the friending system is not a 2-way thing? I always assumed that if you friended someone, you became their friend too? Is that not the case?

No, friending here is basically just keeping track of the person - you see when they're online. That's why all sorts of kids have H_Harlaut and TWallisch as friends...

when you add somebody as your friend they should have to concent to it so no random people add you to try and make themselves look popular

No... there are many people on here that follow Henrik, Tom, Line skis, Jiberish, etc that have them friended so they can follow them. Do you know how big of a pain it would be for some orange names to "consent" to a friend request? And people don't do it to be "popular"... NS isn't high school.

I don't think people add NS friends to their profile to make themselves look "popular" on a website. If you actually believe that, I feel terribly sorry for the life you lead.
