Hey people currently just moved to revelstoke from New Zealand and looking for a job/accommodation. Any revy locals here that have advice/tips would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone's down for a street ski or something hmu. Thanks
 
Yo boss. Save on Foods was looking for people- it ain't glamorous but it's chill and income haha. The hill is hiring as well for a snow removal position, comes with a pass and possibly housing but no guarantees. Revy community page is a good start too as mentioned before.
 
your best bet for a place is a page called revy rentals on facebook. it seems stupid but if you scroll through to see the other posts you’ll have an idea - post a few photos and a description of yourself and people will message you. a job is going to be the trickiest part, a resort job is going to be one of the hardest ones to get because everyone wants to get a free pass. keep an eye on their website job postings (indeed isn’t kept up to date) and apply online - don’t bother going in person until you’ve applied online first, (they’ll make you go through online either way). can also make a post in the revelstoke community page selling yourself work history wise and someone might reach out to you - but try sort accom first, not a lot of places will hire without knowing you have housing.
