Return of the Turn

These are some some of the best edits to come out in a while. Park and powder is fun, but sometimes just bombing around the mountain is just as fun. Inspired me to pick up used GS race skis. Can't wait to get out on them.

People on park crew would make fun of me because I always said it was all about the turns.

I love the park, but getting low on some groomers and ripping fat turns is what keeps me riding.

I'm with you.

The parks scares the shit out of me now. I only go in there a few runs a day, just to prove to myself that I can still do it. But, I get up at 6am to get first chair, so I can be the first one to lay down some sweet fucking arcs on fresh cord. Wouldn't have it any other way. Love pow, love air, but there's nothing better than hot, nasty, bad ass speed and linking some sweet turns.

So glad the turn is returning. I love nothing more than dropping hip hard on some groomers. Properly linking hard turns feels so amazing....on boards or skis

Wow I'm confused, and have LOTS of questions. TURNING YOUR SKIS?! Is that like a shuffle, but you dont bring it back? Or is there some sort of multi-dimensional butter spreading action going on? Why would anyone actually turn their skis when you could "swerve" and look mad styleee! How high in the air should my hands go whilst doing this so called turn?! Can I do this at my local park in Minnesota?! I saw a guy turning once, and he was wearing some sort of tight suit. Will my adidas pants help me turn, or do i need to wear Saga?

But forreals that bump n jump episode had me so fucking stoked. When I first started to compete in freestyle, it meant (actually skiing) moguls, not side slipping the slopes between features! Shit like this gets me hyped to ski the whole mountain, and it's something a lot more skiers/production companies should be focused on.

New wave has taken over so hard that actually skiing properly is seen as the anomaly lol.

I dig this, and hot nasty speed is fun. Anyone who disagrees either skis a landfill in the Midwest or is a weak af.

I wouldn't say its an anomaly. People who know how to ski well just don't film ripping groomers. I do like that hot nasty speed tho

which ones were you ripping

All over in the morning. Switched over to pow mode when they had a silent rope drop on the backside of emigrant. Seshed some drops and surprising amount of powder in hanging gardens.

Anybody know of any edits with similar type skiing from other pros?

Banks Gilberti's Adventure's in Transition @ sun valley comes to mind and is one of my all time fav edts. Want to see more like it
