Omg this is so good and intense. Sad tho :( anyone who is watching tv put this on. It's not edited or anything raw footage
 
Dam just watched it. My comp bugged out when they were in the middle of operation rock avalanche, but holy shit that was amazing. I've watched a lot of documentaries on Afghanistan and that gave the best perspective of what our troops go through. Everyone American citizen should be required to watch this film, it changed there minds about soldiers and show that they actually are human and actually have feelings.

And anyone who is familiar with then SSGT Sal Giunta (the most recent medal of honor recipient) this is the same group that he was with. He was in a different platoon (3rd i think, the 2nd is the focus of this movie) but the captain in the movie wrote him up for the MOH and there are youtube links to Giunta explaining everything. pretty crazy stuff
 
The co-Director and primary cinematographer of Restrepo was recently killed in action while documenting the Libyan rebellion.

saw this a while ago.... such a good documentary. puts u straight into their environment. so moving too. so much support for those troops
 
You've gotta be kidding me. I looked for it on Netflix for like 15 mins last night and couldn't find it.

i'll blame that one on the beer.
 
I think subs in another languages should be made contemporary over there.

Armadillo is a great flick.
 
They are probably showing it because the reporter/filmer who made it died in combat a few days ago
