Why do so many kids on here talk shit about pro skiers? Frankly I’m tired of your guys shit talking. I mean left and right I hear kids talk shit about pro skiers, Its like some of you guys don’t even respect what they've done for our sport. After all, every pro skier has contributed to progression. Bottom line is that if your gonna talk shit about a pro make sure you’ve met them first before you go off and talk shit.

Doesnt seem like Raps or Tanner respect even the other pro skiers, what do you think they think of the rest of us?

I respect guys who deserve respect; Mike D, Philou, Belanger, Dorion, Cusson, Pollard, and many others. But some guys I just can't stand, because they dont have any respect for others.

What is the colour of a mirror?

Thats what im trying to say, get to know them before you judge them. tanner and them already know the other pros and skied with them so they can judge them.

i respect every skier out there who is doin good things. whether it be progressing the sport, or even just bein cool and teachin kids tricks. but i dont LIKE everyone i RESPECT. i think tanner hall is not a good person/role model, but i respect him for his skiing talents.

-i just farted, can you smell it?-

im sure that the pros would gladly listen to all of your disses, but there to busy doing what they love, skiing

Some very good points here. I'd like to add that pro skiers are just people. Their pro status should never buy them the right to disrespect anyone else. They are in the public eye, and whether or not they know other pros means nothing to the general public. I agree with you Craig, that they do have the most knowlege of other riders, and that they are in a better position than anyone to criticize another pro, but they also have to be careful. What they portray in magazines and videos is all the public really knows about them. Therefore, the public makes their own assumptions about the pros based on that information (not to say that they should, but they just do). I think that everyone; pros, amateurs, and wannabes alike should all just be open-minded about each other. Look at everyone for the person they are. Don't judge too soon, and if you do, then don't let that judgement be set in stone. Opinions should be changeable. Be respectful, and you will be respected.

yo. to winters ago i smoked a bowl with tanner at mammoth. he tries to act all sofisticated and shit when hes burnt.

Good post Natedawg, I agree with pretty much everything you said. Don't critisize people, whether they are pro or skiing for the first time. There's absolutly no point to it.
