Resorts near CO Springs

I need your help NS

I'm going out to an accepted students day this April and I will be in Springs. I'm trying to get a day skiing in on Saturday and then fly out of Denver that afternoon/night.

Are there any mountains closer than breck/keystone (within an hour)?

there was Pikes Peak ski area, but they are closed; you just missed it by 30 years

arapahoe basin and loveland are going to be the closest. winter park may be closer to the springs as well. all are going to be around 2 hours for you though
