It's possible especially with the huge rush to buy up resorts. If they get over extended.

Unfortunately there are too many of the smaller mom and pop places that are 1 or 2 shitty seasons away from closing up shop. Whenever the Northeast has a bad season it seems like there are a few places that go out or get bought up. Tough business. With winters on the decline it's sure not looking too good.

Stoked for the little guys who have made it though.
 
some smaller resorts up here in Washington would be absolutely buttfucked if they have multiple bad snow years in a row. Most are down too low, so Stevens pass, and Crystal would take all the competition. #bringbacktheoldstevens
