Resort Season Opening Dates

lets all be hopeful that this year wont be as bad as the last

I had a green christmas last year...
 
what time do the resorts normally open? I moved here from the UK.
A few of my friends back home have been skiing powder in Scotland their pics are killing me.
 
It is not looking so hot up here for the resorts to be open this weekend but there is always hope.
 
im thinking 2nd and 3rd week of december is when it will start. hopefully by the time im done exams somethng is open.
 
So Glen Eden just announced that they will not be opening on Saturday,December 11 as planned and they will now open on December 17.
 
yeah things aren't looking good up here, horseshoe's fb page says they won't be opening this weekend. The only ray of hope is holiday valley, they might be able to blow wednesday and thursday night and open saturday? i'll be there if they do, and if anyone's interested i may have an extra seat
 
word has it that horseshoe is opening on wednesday andblue on friday. louis is also opening sometime on the weekend
 
WOOHOO, uni exams on the 9th, 10th, 11th then 14th. nice skiing break to louie between the 11th and 14th then absolutely nothing to do but ski til January, right when resorts open!! cant wait to get out of my room!!
 
Collingwood supposedly will have just under 6 feet by the end of the week. does anybody know if they will have any kind of park set up?
 
haha ya we have more snow then we know what to do with! -no hills open till the 16th tho :(
 
I walked up glen eden on sunday with my dog. Theyve blown quite a bit of snow. Im heading up to louis on sunday though for sure.
 
I was considering it but had a feeling that people working there would be anal about it lol
