I have been told by my boss at alta sometime after Nov. 14th.

work at a resort, in the right position.
or take the class at the U where u ride early at alta, ski teaching baby, I took it two years in a row. sooooo epic. sugarloaf the first year, as in we tracked it out all under the lift and glory hole, then wildcat the second year, so much fun. mathers, the instructor, is kind of a dork, but a really cool guy. and the other instructors, haha I don't think I need to say anything else, but lift rides with them were always enjoyable.

I heard an announcement on the radio this morning that kinda had me going. They said some of the resorts have been talking about opening early, but the problem they usually have with that is getting the staffing together.

Staffing for lifts is huge, as alot of lifties are aussie or south american or the such... and the temperature fluctuates so much this time of the season it's hard to say you'll make snow all next week, then have the temps bump back up... but there's always hoping
