Research paper: skiing

i have to write a 5 page research paper on a controversial (sp?) issue. i want to write about skiing but i need a good topic. any suggestions

 
how about whether snowbladers should be allowed to be lynched for entering the park

yo yo yo whutp? yo why dont u choose a real topic, guy. not everyone in your class cares how hardcore of a skier u are guy, i know. yo i got an idea though yo do this:

the catholic religion, and how they claim to be a institution that propagates love and well being, while at the same time they are institution that but at the same time tells everyone how homosexuals and people who chose abortion are tpo be condemened? lots of material here for an A (90-100%) guy.

g dogg is right though... i tried to write a good paper about newschool skiing for physics last year and even though it was good, my teacher clearly told me he didnt give a fuck about how freeskiing is blowing up and that it had nothing to do with physics, at least until i added a lot of shit to it. just pick a topic that is the easiest to write a lot about, even if you dont care about it

I tried to do the same exact thing...except I couldn't make it work at all. I ended up doing atkins; and that isn't fun to research at all. But I just did a research project a few months ago on whether population growth will lead to environmental catastrophe, and I got super in to it since I'm a big environmentalist. If you need other ideas message me.

if you want to have a contravercial issue you can always talk about the acceptance of drugs by the freestyle skiing comunity. Drugs are always controvercial

write about how large companies seem to hold a monopoly in the ski area and how up and coming independent companies have a hard time getting off the fround and what federal law protects both sides of this argument
