Requiem For A Dream.... so ill

i thought it was well done, but i don't think i'd want to watch it again. its too depressing just to watch over and over again.
 
Amazing movie, crazy while on anything. But yeah it's not something to watch over and over again. Sick soundtrack though.

Such a sick movie for sure. I love it cuz it's good high or just plane fucked up.
 
i saw it on the latter end of being grilled, a smidge burnt out, and it wasnt that epic to me. maybe it was just because i was beat, but yeah... a teacher at my old school was telling me about how he used to be addicted to pain killers when he played college football and then he saw this movie and stopped popping pills forever.ill give it a second try sometime. in my opinion, fear and loathing is the most heady movie to watch smacked
 
What makes this movie so profound is that it grabs the viewers attention by using music, synced with visuals, to portray the different highs and disturbances that the characters were experiencing. It was like watching a music video, but at the same time it wasn't. The fact that it makes some people nauseous further exemplifies Aronofsky's powers as a filmmaker. One of the best films ever made, in my opinion.
