Request for addition to regional forums: Edmonton forum

The point of the thread is simple, to request there be a sub-forum be added to the regionals for Edmonton Alberta. WIth the size of the freeski community in edmonton, and the fact that it is continually growing, the lack of a regional forum for Edmonton is a oversight. At the present time Edmontonian's are using Calgary's regional forum to attempt to communicate with each other, but more often then not those threads get lost in all the Calgary based threads. This comes as no surprise as its a calgary forum.

Basically what Im asking is, can you please add a Edmonton Sub forum?

going to bump this one back up, was hoping to at least get a response from admins on the possibility of this happening

 
i support this, i live in toronto but if that's got a forum so should somewhere that actually has real hills
 
My thoughts are that the title of the Calgary/Banff forum should be modified to include Edmonton. It's a relatively small geographical area if you consider the distance between Calgary and Edmonton.

Look at some of the other areas and the size of the regions that they encompass. New England Forums for example covers Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut.

Pennsylvania & New York regionals covers a massive area, with a lot of skiers. Pittsburgh, PA to the Adirondacks in New York is close to 10 hours in driving distance, yet are in the same regional forum classification based on state and region.

I have no say in any of this, but it's just a different perspective on the matter.
