Replacing Look Pivot 18 AFD

Does anyone know the process of replacing the afd on pivot 18s? I have a pair of pivot 18s mounted on skis now, but want to replace the alpine afd with a wtr / gw afd? Is it possible to replace the existing afd without taking the whole toe piece off?
 
Do you already have the replacement AFDs? But yeah you're going to need to take the toe piece off, then separate the platform from the actual toe.
