Repairing top sheet with hot glue

The only reason why I am even considering this is because the chip is pretty small:

I don't have any kind of epoxy on hand, and I was wondering if hot glue would hold. Temperatures here are extremely cold, so would the glue become brittle and crack or would it hold for a small repair? I don't really want to go out and buy some other adhesive, but if hot glue absolutely won't work, I'll do it. And leaving it isn't really an option to me because I hate when things aren't maintained. Input is appreciated, especially for alternatives to hot glue.

Well the glue will likely chip off really quickly. If you must repair it, a little tube of epoxy is like 5 bucks. Clean the surface and apply. That doesn't look bad though.

haha today i got a foot long topsheet scrape when i fell, to the wood (i thnink) i gotta get that repaired thanks for reminding me

Honestly, if your tearing up the park and riding park a lot, I wouldnt bother trying to fix them with any glue at all. But if you do want to, I would use nail glue or super glue. Nail glue might work a little better than super glue because of the cold temps that they will be in.
