Repainting pivots

I have a pair of 2019 forza pivots that have seen a good few seasons and some paint has faded and some has been scratched off completely. What can I do to restore their glory without risking the paint leaking into the snow when it's ski season? I'm thinking of something with a clearcoat for the paint but I'm not sure. Should I just keep them as is to not disservice its effectiveness as a tool?

I think the app BeReal is using our pictures and sending them to a government data base and the government is working on a social credit system with face tracking similar to China.
