Rental boots

this is a stupid question but my parents are shipping my helmet and boots to our hotel were goin to colorado next week. i wanted to ski this week but im gonna have to rent boots. will they fit my skis? i always thought they made your bindings according to your boots but im just wondering before i decide to go up
 
wherever you rent from will adjust your bindings for free, just make sure to tell them not to fuck with your DIN. Make sure you readjust or have them checked when you get back to your own boots.
 
This is a very good point - I can pack the bare minimum I need to ride in my boot bag (helmet, boots, underlayers, goggles, pants and gloves) and wear my coat on the plane. That way, I can still ride if the airline loses my stuff.

Note - I learned this the hard way when I had a trip ruined by lost luggage.
 
when i went to hood i packed my skibag wiht a days worth of clothes and brought my boots incase they lost my other shti so i could still ski
