Remounts

so i have chronic cryptonites and at the begining of the season i had then mounted where the facotry recomended to. i liked it and didnt have any problems but i am thinking of remounting more towards center just cause i wanna have a little bit more tail behind me cause im riding park a bunch. how bad will this affect the life of my skis, is it good or bad? good info is greatly appreciated

i got my chronics at -2 from center. even though recommended is at -6 from center. everyone ive talked to say its not that bad for the ski. the flex of the skis at high speeds will be affected but the life of the ski not so much

3 sets of holes should be the limit for skis. Epoxy old holes and you will be fine

No worries, remount and enjoy the the extra tail.

Eh people say 3 is the max but I can easily get four. You just have to know what your doing and getting yourself into. I wouldn't trust a shop going over 3 though.

Yeah a big problem is inexperienced shop techs. That's why always prefer to do my mounts myself. But if you don't know what you are doing don't do it
