Remounting skis?

Im thinking of remounting my fujatives more center, my skis are relatively back, despite the holes I will have in my topsheet. opinions, experiences?

I did that with my fujis i bought for 50 bucks and my armadas, they did good with my armadas but they put my fujis a couple cm forward so make sure they do it right, but its chill.

yeah no probs man... go to your shop, theyll put some fillers in the old holes and everything will be just chill

it does make a bit of a diffrencce but your not going to notice the diffrence in your ski but make sure you get it done right because you dont want water getting in the ski and fucking with its insides !

i dont think its a problem until you remount for like the 3rd or 4th time...if its just the 2nd then its ok

ya my 04 tms are mounted 1cm BACK from the suggested point, and its tricky going fakie so im prob gonna mount em like core center or something

yeah i need top get new bindings mounted on my fujatives so its nice to see soemone else had the same predicament ... i would hop emy skis dont get weaker

im thinking of remounting 2-3 cm more foward, which will be close to center, i didntknow i would ski so much park so worth it??

it will weaken your ski for sure, but as far as the bindings being able to "bite" into the ski, the rule of thumb is >1cm between the holes.

It's not a problem at all. I've skied on a pair of Moships that have been remounted once for a whole season of hard skiing and had no problems. We remount skis all the time at the shop I work at. Doing it once shouldn't hurt the ski.

yeah i remounted my public enemys in the beggining of the season and they broke at the end, granted they were 2 seasons old, id do it again though, if i had the choice.

ive remounted multiple skis twice and three times. I would recommend it. Its the best way to truly learn where YOU like ur skis mounted. The difference between a couple of centimeters becomes very feelable. DO IT. I have skis that have been mounted 3x and no problems.

ive remounted 1 cuz the first time they were mounted at regular ski mark. i took them back and mounted them at the K2 "center" mark. i havent used my fujatives for a season. but i think im gonna remount it again to direct center...i dont think there gonna break...to be honest

most skis I'd say no problem, but Fuji's Tanners and any other ski with "butter zones" are likely to break if you land backseat or come out of anything going really fast after they've been remounted just because those butter zones are most likely right where the old holes were if they were mounted back from center...

If you are super lightweight or if you dont ski hard you should have no problems.

I've broken lost of skis, so I have this fear
