Remounting Skis one size apart with FKS Help!

So i am looking at buying fks bindings and used Halo 2 skis, and the Halo 2's have been mounted to a 26.5 boot but my boot size is 27.5. I am wondering if I would be able to remount them without any problems if i do buy them, or would that not work? I know fks's don't have a lot of movement in them once they are mounted so I wasn't too sure. Thanks for the help

Most likely they will be too big. Do you know the bsl on both boots?

I have Tom Wallisch Boots and they are 310, but I am not quite sure what boots the guy who has the Halo 2's are? Ill ask him and let you know

You're probably fine. There's 7mm adjustment each way in turntable heels if they were mounted correctly (jig 5mm set smaller than the boot) but it rarely gets set correctly. Mount them carefully and check.

Worst case: remount heel or toe about 10-12mm back or forward, no big deal.

If you do have to remount, I would suggest moving only the toe or heel depending on where they are currently mounted.

I'm guessing your in full tilts with a bsl of 310. To be honest that is closer to most 26 boots so unless the first owner had full tilts too chances are you can just readjust. If the original owner had full tilts with a 300 bsl then you will nee a remount. You can't move both heel and toe you can only move one so youe mount point will change slightly.

I had 25.5s and got new boots (26.5) and adjusted them at the back and they fit perfect.

the listed size is relevant to specific companies. hence the fact that i asked for the bsl. for example my size 25.5 roxas were 1mm bigger than my old 26.5 full tilts.
