Remounting my skis

Ok, I'm completely aware that there are a million threads on this, but I had a specific question concerning my skis.

I had my ARWs mounted core centre, and found they skied like crap on anything that wasn't a groomer. Since I do quite a lot of my skiing NOT on groomers and OUTSIDE of the park, I was thinking of having my skis remounted.

So my question is how far should I have them mounted back to give me better performance with all-mountain skiing and how much will this affect my skis?

not sure arw's but on ar5s recommened makes for a nice mix of park and all mountain.

Mount them like an inch and half to two inches back from your first mount and that should be good

You mounted them core center and they skied like crap? That's wierd. How close is core center to true center on the ARWs?

I think she must have meant true center. There's no way they would ski like crap at core center, even if it was a bad ski.

my bad on not knowing terms. its at true center, an inch or two forward of the suggested mounting point.

should i just have them mount it back to the suggested mounting point?
