The bindings are mounted way too far back and there is no question they need to be moved up, but should i get new bindings or keep these?

they have not broken and have had no problems with them did 10 days and then 30 days on them over 2 seasons, they are looking a tad bit worn i think its mostly cosmetic have no issue with pre-release, should i spend my money on pivots? i was thinking the 14 din ones but am unsure

K+ for help, yes i read the what binding thread and that is why i am concerned

remount for sure. no need for 14s especially if you are not having any probs with these. where are they mounted and where do you want to move them too?

i always thought px team bindings were youth bindings. if they work for you keep em i guess. you would be fine jumping up the the px 140s though. just because its a 14 din binding doesnt mean you have to set it at 14, thats why they have a din range

this is true, but i think that if he isn't having trouble with the current bindings, why change. You only really need to upgrade to the really nice 14 din bindings if you are skiing big mountain on a higher level to the point where cheaper bindings won't hold up for you.

That being said, if you do want to upgrade, check out the deal:

What's your planned use for the ski? If you plan on using them in the park, then go closer to center, in you plan on them never touching a rail, keep them where they are, they're most likely mounted at recommended/core center, which is where you'll want them for just cruising around and carving down the hill. If you plan on using them solely for park, center mount them. As far as what to do about bindings, if you're not having problems with the px's there's no need to change them (I'm saying this, and I hate the px series), if you start having problems, remounting for FKS/Pivots isn't terrible since the toe piece has the same mounting pattern and the heel holes shouldn't be a problem.

I would not recomend mounting the lord at centre. Its not a park ski or even really a twin tip. It will ski very strangley if you mount it foward of teh recomended point.

If you plan on doing alot of park especially rails you may want to change the ski. For one its cap construction which will mean if you hit rails sooner or later you will blow out an edge, as they dont have the added protection of teh ABS sidewall.

Personally if you plan on hitting the park alot, I would sell the lords, keep the bindings and look for a park ski, for example the suspect or the Rocker 92 if you still wanted a salomon ski
