Remote Control Trucks?

I have been looking into RC trucks lately and I dont have a clue. I have been looking at either the E-Maxx or the E-Savage. Does anyone know which is better? They seem like a fun hobby for the off-season so why not. 10/10 Karma for good answers about which is better and pros and cons.

i always wanted to get the stampede. but i know that not as nice as the other ones (such as the e maxx) so whatever you pay for is what you get. the more the better id say!

they are the same price. I just dont want to pay like 250$ and then break it in a few hours. Has anyone tried them?

i honestly dont get why you would race a tiny little car around a tiny little track... is it more about the building of the thing and the hobby in general or is there an actual point?

they are really really really fun when they are working. if you dont know much about cars tehy aren't that fun there are a lot of parts on it that break every time.

get a traxxas e-revo, in my experience they are the greatest truck ever built, they will kick the ass of a revo 3.3, and if you run twin brushless motors and 11.2v of lipo batteries its nearly uncrontrollable its so fast and powerful

before i started snowboarding i worked at a hobby shop that sold all sorts of r/c stuff, i used to get free cars and parts from all sorts of companies, and i would take them to races on these carpet tracks and race with crazy old men, i also learned to fly helicopters upside down (which i still think is cool)

my xray t2r 007 edition (custom built race car) was worth about as much as new setup for skiing/boarding, and a trip to whistler for two weeks , its the stupidest hobby EVER, a huge waste of money, a ridicoulouse waste of time, and a guaranteed way to kep your virginity for a LONG time

dont buy an R/C truck, you will lose friends

my uncle had one, then he ran it into a tree and got it ran over by a car. really fun while it lasted tho.
