Reminiscent of 02-03

who remembers the winter of 02-03? it reminds me much of this winter. it was a catastrophe for the first few months, then all of a sudden it was march and the floodgates opened. back then, it didn't stop snowing for a month and a half. be interesting too see how things go this year round. 02-03 finished with over 1000cm cumulative snowfall, it would be epic if this year ended up so as well. but please let it be sunny for wsi.

I think I do... My family and I rented a place in Whisler that Spring Break, before we bought a house

It was like -20 in the middle of March!

is that the one your thinking of?

that year was sick. way better than this year. way less snow now. that spring break we had 180cm of fresh at hemlock one day. damn good times. i went to the interior a few days later and panarama had a base of 185 cm. poor bastards

hell it snowed two feet in agassiz during spring break. it never snows there.

man that was fun, it was my first winter in Van and my grandpa came and took me to Whistler for the whole spring break week. Thats the time when I learned how to ski powder on the racing skis I had, it snowed like a foot everyday, so awesome!!

so far I'd say that the 02/03 season was still better than this season. But who knows...the season isn't over yet!

Although the season has sucked until now, it's nice to finally see some snow. And the best part is that even though there is tons of pow, the Van city folk still haven't really been coming up...so the hills have been dead!
