Remembering some of the greatest skiers

Got in a conversation with a friend about ATG exercises, ended up showing him Kim Boberg Bytterfly. And after watching that video again after a year, that video is aboslutely insane. It’s both visually pleasing, iconic and kim is also on the top of his game at an age that most skiers retire. Got so much respect for people who dedicate themselves to get over an injury or age overall.
any other skiers that have done the same that need some more recognition? I know there are several. And always fun to exchange videos

I remember Mort. That guy was a hero.

Lmao. I hurt thinking back to those days. All the mistakes. Never wanted the thread to come out like that at all.

I don't know how to feel about the direction he had taken as of recent, but he really was something special. I wish him the best

What happened. I'm super out of the loop he always made things so smooth and would hold grabs to the last possible second

Oh uh he um....well he went to jail for selling crack I believe in 2007, then turned things around, changed his name to Mick Comte, became a fairly respected body piercer, was featured in "Like A Lion", and finally tried becoming a metal vocalist before transitioning to sound cloud rapping....he still skis once in a while...check out his feature in this Henrik segment

Just watched this for the first time in like 15 years....... Some cringe.... Some rad

Probably my favorite ski movie of all time. Pollards double song seg, dash longe, SHOYA, and of course T-halls segment. CR had the top gun themed segment too. E-raps on the mic, and our first taste of Cali-P. Legendary!

Pollards. Massive 180 on that bc hip is fucking poetry

D-Spong is the greatest skier. Remember.

As far as asians go the spongs were nothing special.

Asians have alot of natural acrobatic ability. Yuto horigome, the yasutoko brothers, sakuraba was almost an acrobat with the shit he pulled.

Oh also about 1 in 4 asian women look like they are 16 yrs old when they are 50

None of this is true or made any sense or was related to what OP said
