Do you remember Wolfmother? The band that had a song in almost every ski and bike movie between 2008 and 2012?

Remember how their first album came out a full decade ago, and they put out one album since then, and no one knows why they broke up?

Yeah, them.

They released two singles and have an album coming out February 19. And they're still fucking great. Big guitars, big drums, and bigger hair.

I just watched that sound city documentary and "re-discovered" wolfmother and holy fuck is their first album a banger! I forgot how its track after track of metal infused rock that just kills it from start to finish. definately excited about a new album.

its a documentary about a recording studio in california where a ton of epic albums were recorded from fleetwood mac to chili peppers to wolfmother. its significant because of the mixing board they used and the raw incredible sound it produced. should definately check it out its a solid solid watch. dave grohl produced it too. not that makes it better to watch
