I listen to the expendables, the supervillians, slightly stoopid, pepper, and passafire a lot, but i'll check out the rest. Hahah i'm gonna be rolling in the dub!

what type of reggae are you lookin for?like the chill old stuff? like barrington levy eeka mouse and don carlosor the new jumpy stuff like sizzla kya bamba and cali p?

burning spear- soo many classic songs

niyorah- newer, real sick

perfect- his "born dead with life" album blows me away

tiken jah fakoly- think he's from somewhere in africa, real smooth

abyssinians- slower, heavy dub

desmond dekker- old school sunny ska

toots and the maytals- one of the originals, his song "do the reggay" is the origin of the name of the genre

mutabaruka- a "dub poet," pretty interesting

gregory isaacs- cool, sometimes cheezy dancehall

mighty diamonds- good old fashioned reggae

horace andy- quality dub reggae

lee "scratch" perry- one of the OG dubster badasses

peter tosh and bunny wailer- the other original members of "the wailers" with bob, both have

distinguished solo careers

justin hinds and the dominoes- early early ska

los pericos- great argentinian reggae group

fat freddy's drop- from NZ, maybe??

prince buster- hilarious old jamaican ska artist, one of the originals

alpha blondy- liberian reggae artist

alton ellis- basically the founder of "rocksteady" music, the bridge between ska and reggae

jimmy cliff- a true classic

yellow man- kind of weird, but pretty endearing

eek-a-mouse- maybe the most distinct voice in reggae

black uhuru- heavy hitting roots reggae

the melodians- another "rocksteady" group from mid 60's jamaica

sorry if some of these were already listed. it amazes me how much reggae there is out there, waiting to be discovered.

Hell yea Kya Bamba and Cali P tear it up! I like em a lot.

I still have a lot to look through.. But does anyone know of some KILLER dub reggae?!

By the way.. everyone should get their mits on Ranking Dread In Dub VL - Ranking Dread
