los pericos- great argentinian reggae group

prince buster- hilarious old jamaican ska artist, one of the originals
alpha blondy- liberian reggae artist
alton ellis- basically the founder of "rocksteady" music, the bridge between ska and reggae
jimmy cliff- a true classic
yellow man- kind of weird, but pretty endearing
eek-a-mouse- maybe the most distinct voice in reggae
black uhuru- heavy hitting roots reggae
the melodians- another "rocksteady" group from mid 60's jamaica
