REFRESH!!!

Well, without being too redundant and without an 'epic fail' for starting another thread. Just watched Refresh and DAMN.
Props go out to Decker and Freedle, Berman, all the riders. I don't know if I've enjoyed a ski movie in the last 7-8 years as much as I did this one.
It would be interesting to hear their perspective on it but to me it seems like that movie really really came together. Their were no loose ends, no parts I wanted to skip, just a REALLY inspiring/stoking timeline.
So anyway, props to all ya'll. Probably don't need to worry about even making any more movies...that one just set the bar...
 
I sure skipped the lip syncing "paradise" segment after Tom's masterpiece. I could cut that out of the movie.....
 
i thought it was pretty good, delormes segment was the best segment ive seen in a long time, and the urban was the most creative ive seen out of any ski movie. the "paradise" segment was awesome too. but i dunno, i felt like it was missing something, the whole movie seemed a little like a jibberish edit rather than a level 1 movie. partly cause of the skiers in it, partly because of the filming/editing, and parly cause of the lack of a couple really really awesome backcountry jumps.

what happened to steele spence? travis redd, dan marion, alex balsen, craig coker, john symms, tim russell, austin ramaley, matt philippi etc? all these guys were so awesome to watch! they all brought original style, good attitude's, and were just alot more fun to watch, especially steele spence, travis and craig coker, why the hell arent they in the movie?

id way rather watch these guys killing it instead of a bunch of the same forced style from half the people in refresh, i swear if you just switched their clothes around you wouldnt be able to tell the difference between them. and brogan? he's the super unknown winner and his second year of filming he still only has one shot? bring back steele to replace him and get some quality footage again!

but really, refresh was good, i just dont see why they arent filming their best skiers.
