Refill BCA Avy Cylinder

Was drinking with my roommates thought it would be funny to pull my avy bag lol it was hilarious at the time an im glad it worked but now i need to find a place to get the air refilled so ill be ready for when I venture into the BC thanks

side just moved here from AK so if anyone would like to let me tag along id greatly appreciate it spent a lot of time back home sled skiing so im not a newb still jam trekkers though hopefully thats still cool haha
 
If your near anchorage AMH (Alaska mountaineering and hiking store), Rei, Or Ski AK (ski shop).

One of those stores should do it. I would bet one of the shops in girdwood would do it to.

Alaska BC is kinda of dead on this website. TGR fourms have a lot of Alaska diehard tour peeps.

Live in Denver now used to ride for AMDS haha Nick Olszack would hook a homie up thanks though
 
PSA: Every should test their pack every season!

Particularly the BCA packs. The trigger can come loose of the firing pin, and result in a miss fire (no bag activation)

At the start of last season I tested mine and nothing happened. A bad seal had allowed all the air to slowly leak out.

On that note: make sure whoever is re-filling your cylinders is replacing the o-rings. Also, you should check the air gauge every-time you take it out.

In Jackson, you can refill them at Moo's Ice cream. The owner(?) really knows his shit.

thats dope grab yourself a sundae while your tank gets filled haha i've had buddies pull theirs an nothing happen mainly because they didn't hook it up correctly an the air went into the pack an not the bag

avy bags do you no good unless theyre properly working stay safe homies
