Red's Park

^haha the rest of the hill is waaaaaay better now. That edit was filmed last weekend but we got over 30cms this week.
 
fuck red's park.

did a run through there yesterday... saw that the rainbow rail is FINALLY up. go hit it and get sent into nothing. you come off the rainbow rail and have nothing to hit after... it's a one jib line.

the only thing that's fun in Red's park is the butter box to down rail, but even that is almost too small to do any real tricks.

apparently the good jump is going to be built tomorrow, we'll see if it happens.
 
I just got back from building it.

It turned out pretty well, we had 2 cats so the landing is really good.

Its only like 45-50 but there is SO much lip because the landing is so steep that there will be plenty of airtime.
 
now that ive looked at it in the light, there isnt crazy amount of lip, but there actually is lip that matches with the landing. The actual jump is about 20 feet wide and taller than me standing under it with my arm fully raised holding my pole, so a solid 12ish feet.
 
AND they put some actual good looking jumps on the second roller, i was too busy skiing pow to hit them.
 
my previous statement of "fuck red's park" continues. today would have been an awesome jump day - you know, if they groomed it.
