I would've thought long winded ideological rants about nothing would be right up your alley

Rants cannot be about nothing. If they were about nothing, a rant couldn't be a rant.

Thanks for proving my point lmao

Didn't prove your point at all. I explained how a rant cannot be about nothing; not a single thing. It has to have a basis. Then again, we all have opinions. Peace.

Ordinary Men by Christopher Browning

Everyone learns about the Holocaust from a 80,000ft view imo. A very withdrawn view, just the basics. This book takes you into the horrors and the psychological approach of conditioning "ordinary men"- carpenters, business owners, teachers, etc.- into ruthless executioners. A wild, insane, sickening, jaw-dropping read.

Read this book.

Notes from the Underground - Dostoevsky

If you want psychology, this book is nuts. After reading it, you will want to take a long and hard look at yourself in the mirror.

The Big Short - Michael Lewis

A great book finance story about the shit show that happened in 2008. Great display of the flaws in the financial system.

Layered Money: From Gold and Dollars to Bitcoin and Central Bank Digital Currencies - Nik Bhatia

A great run through the history of the banking system. It does a great job explaining why we use certain types of money. It also argues why cryptocurrency has a place in our monetary system.
